Energy and cyclone rated louvre windows complying with AS 2047.

Media Release
Breezway Louvres Reach New Heights With Ease
Breezway is fast setting the pace in home automation with the launch of the new Altair Powerlouvre™ Window to be nationally released on 19th January 2007.

Following extensive development, the long awaited Altair Powerlouvre™ Window can now electronically control cross ventilation and airflow into the home with a simple flick of a switch.

Combining the timeless aesthetic appearance of louvres with modern technology, the automated Powerlouvre™ Window is easy to operate in high, out of reach locations. The 24V motor is cleverly concealed within the window frame and provides a stylish, elegant solution to any contemporary building design.

Breezway's Sales and Marketing Manager Mr David Brogan said Altair™ Louvre Windows have undergone major transformations to get to where they are now from the once known shabby and unsightly louvres of yesteryear.

"Superior airflow, the widest choice of customising options and clean architectural lines are some of the reasons why Breezway louvres are the most popular louvre windows in Australia. The option to automate the windows without adding external motors and connections provides yet another reason to include them into your next building project.
“Designed to be compatible with sophisticated building automation systems, the minimal noise from the low voltage motor effectively reduces any unnecessary intrusion into the building environment, making the Altair Powerlouvre™ Window highly suited to public buildings and residential designs,” he said.
Available in the new Breezway Easyscreen™ Surround Frame, the patent pending system has been constructed to operate to at least 30,000 open/close cycles, giving the user peace of mind that this product has been tested to operate twice a day for over 50 years.

“We built the Powerlouvre™ Window so that it can withstand Australia’s harsh and erratic weather conditions whilst still looking sleek and innovative. Tested to 1000 hours salt mist, 90 percent humidity at 35 degrees celsius and tested at varying temperature increments from minus 20 to 60 degrees celsius demonstrates the strength and durability of this beautifully crafted product,” Mr Brogan said.

The concealed automation device does not change the windows’ standard height and offers numerous design applications.

Automating windows has never before been made so easy as Breezway offers a simple supplier solution to window automation requirements, doing away with the need to co-ordinate multiple suppliers and tradesman.
