Timbercrete is a lightweight, eco friendly, self insulated building product with hand-hewn sandstone/limestone aesthetics.

The product complies with Australian Structural standards, has a FRL
(Fire Resistance Level) exceeding 240/240/240 and an excellent insulation value of R 1.02 @200mm thick (brick veneer and cavity brick, without added wall insulation, have little more than half this).

Its unique "in-wall bracing system" provides enhanced bracing & lateral strength values, making it suitable for earthquake & cyclonic zones. Timbercrete is also extremely user friendly, as it can be nailed into, screwed into and sawn like timber. It is so workable that you can cut it to suit almost any angle.

An unusual combination of thermal mass & insulation characteristics has resulted in national environmental Awards, recognising Timbercrete's low embodied energy, recycled material content & inherent carbon trap.

Timbercrete walls are typically more cost-effective than brick veneer but tend to have a superior resale value. Construction alternatives include single skin blocks, veneer or double brick, and wall panels. Landscaping products and pavers are also available. Customers have the unique ability to "design their own bricks" in terms of size, colour, texture and shape, or select from the popular style range.
